My cowl worked!!!!! People loved it, wish I could say teh same about hte rest of the costume, it desided to destroy itself thoughout the night...oh well. I guess I will have to carry on with it and make a new one, a better one, but this time I need a heat gun!!! I need to fix my keyboard, one of the keys is broken, and I want to start playing it again, I liked it, then I can secretly play teh piano's at uni, every room near the studio has a piano!!! I need to write my monologue for Wednesday, it's so hard, I can't remember monologues..ever....too much to remember, but well, go to do it. I may also write a song or two, just for a laugh and see what I can come up with. I miss writing poems and songs, well, not that I haven't done it for years, just a few weeks....need to get back in the swing. Right I have to get ready for work. Later Days |

Right kids, it's been 10 days since my last post, so I thought I would drop you a line. I have a new PC...it works, it's great...YEAH!!!!! Right, I have a good birthday, I went to kickboxing with my friends and we had a wee party afterwards with a film and pizza..all good. Mum and Dad got me The Art of Speed Racer, THe Art of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Lykke Li's album, Who Killed Amanda Palmer and two STAR WARS t-shirts. My sister and her boyfriend got my the DR WHO FOBWATCH and a Marvel notepad, ANdy got em a bug barn, and Cat and Chris got me chocolate....twas a good day. Uni goes well, made some new friends, but as we are so small, me and Sandra have become a gruesome twosome....we have some strange ideas. My batcowl is drying downstairs, I have another coat of latex to sluch in, then it should be dry by the morning, but I may paint some extra around some parts tomorrow night. I'm eating Halloween marshmallow!!! YUM YUM!!!! I bought my first Bluray.....CASINO ROYALE. I already have it on DVD< but it has some cool extra features, so I thought it was worththe extra cash, I might get The Sarah Connor Chronicles next, it's all about extra features at the moment, if it has none i get teh DVD, it is has more tehn I will get the bluray, or maybe both so I can watch one upstairs and the other in my bedroom. All goes well, tomorrow I am off to see costumes in town....Stormtroopers!!! Later Days

Long time no write, well a couple of days I thik, I don'k know. At this moment in time I am on my parent PC, mine is slowly being rebuilt after a power surge blew it up, I don't have a keyboard as of yet, so a quick note just to say I am not dead, I am however now 26....fuckme......where did all the time go???? My PC blew up!!!! Literally, there was a bang upstairs, the power went and when I went upstairs the smell of burning was being emmited from my PC. Luckily it wasn't turned on so it's just the power supply. Poor machine....but well, now I need to talk to my parents about borrowing some cash to rebuild the machine. Apart from that I have to go to work at 3 for a nice long shift, but I am currently enjoying a Gilmour Girls marathon on E4. By Batman costume is coming along well, I need to buy some more funky foam, and build some more for the chest, and then work on the back a bit more. All is good. Right, I need to think about lunch.......Dammit...When will she realise that Luke is her soul mate....... Later Days |

Right kids, yes indeed, we have a new modem and I have a Wifi adapter on my laptop, so I ma writing from the comfort of my bed, happily sitting on my bed...YAY!!!! Watching CSI Miami.
Right, the past few days have been fun fun fun. I went to the Sci Fi Collectors Fair at teh pyramids, and what did i have my photo taken with..Who I hare you ask..well....STORMTROOPER..ALIEN....PREDATOR!!!! Yes, it's was a fun day. I bought two DC Direct Justice Leagure figures...the Alex Ross ones, I got Green Lantern and Hawkgirl. Thats all they had, and they were teh bargain price of £2.50 each. Not alot of other stuff worth buying really, lots of collectors cards and pictures, but no stuff I was truelly interested in, but hey, I met some Colonial Marines too. It was a good day.
Kickboxing goes well, I have a lesson on Thursday and training on Friday, I'm trying to get two sessions a week, one with the teacher and one with friends. So all is well, my intention is to have a good tone up, I need it, and I think it's the way I want to go, lean, and able to keep myu stamina up. I think it may become a good skill for my masters, the ability to control my bodu and do things may come in useful for strange and wonderful characters.
Plus, my confidence is going well, my CBT lady said that I have made vast improvement over the past few weeks. Part of my homework was to watch WANTED and try and break it down into elements that I identify with. THe first half was great, the training and the explainatin of panic and anxiety was great, made me feel awesome to think that I am part of a special group of people that can do amazing things once they learn to control their panic and focus it. SHe said teh only thing I won't get form it was Angelia Jolie...damn....oh well. I do however understand Panic and anxiety more. I'm begining to put it into a form of understanding using diagrams and such like, it's almost becoming Zen like, I may stary reading that stuff again.I thkn it'll do me good.
I've been practising movements on my own, going from stance to jab to block in various forms, I need to learn their actual names, but I'm getting the hang of it, I'm getting used to balance again, it's great. I'm going to hopefully take some photos on friday, they I can study the forms more, and use them to draw from. Sounds fun fun fun.
I've started on the batsuit. I'm doing a custom job, it's based on the TDK one, but I wantot add some of my own elements too, I'm seeing how it works in term sof ability to move, the iodea is that it is just a realistic in design and functional. If I get it right, could make an appearence on Halloween....hopefully, I know how to make the top section, just the bottom, I need to look at motocross trousers.

Leaving for Steve's in a minute, lots of editing too do, well, not lots, some clearing up to do. Then we will have a solid short. He thinks it won't turn out as good as he hoped, due to the fact that he now thinks of shots he didn't think of before, which always happens, but I am sure it will be fine.
Not sure what I am credited as, I know it's puppeteer, but I am not sure if I am getting a AD credit or not, not that I mind if I don't, I'm happy with puppeteer, but it would be a bit of kudos.
Been browsing ebay for some gloves and wraps for kickboxing, I might also invest in a Tai Chi DVD...yes a bit sad, but sometimes I need a little relaxation before bedtime. I'm finding all this new found martial art thing great, I don't know why I didn't do it before...and the scary thign is, that when we made out documentary in 2001 about spiritualist medium, the dude said my spirit guide was an old Asian sensei and that he would guide me through life until my end days, and I forgot all about this until the other day, strange huh'.
Well, I am going to check for post, and then make my way to Steve's.

Well, before I finish off the ear of my cowl, just the ear left, it's slightly misshaped and needs a little extra to curve it a bit. Then tomorrow I can start my cast. I finish at 2 so I can start and then leave it for while, and add another layer, then I can do a bit more on monday and be ready to pull a cowl by the end of the week. But I warn you, I fucking ache after last night, that was a hardcore session, we focussed mainly on kicks, and that has made my thighs hurt. But I like it. The sculpt is practically finished, just need to fix one of the ears and then i am ready for casting, hopefully this weekend. it'll take a few days to do, but it will be worth it, if it works. Going kickboxing again on Thursday, it is so much fun, it is one hour of intense workout which is fantastic, you don't realize your doing it. Afterwards you feel a bit weird, but then your fine, fantastic I say. Right, I am going to copy some of my albums by The White Stripes to my Ipod.... Later Days |

Before I depart for work, I just watched Legend of the Rangers, and for a B5 spin off it would have been quite good as it expanded on the universe instead of lingering around the Shadow War that Crusade tried to do. Instead of dealing with a race that were in league with the shadows like the Drak, the had a race called The Hand which had been around for billions of years, and they had waited in the far reaches of space, it also looked like it would have touched on the Thirdspace film....bloody networks it owuld have been nice to see, even if it was a mini series. I have sudden urge to listen to Pink Floyd today, and I forgot how much I love this band, they have been up there as my favorite band, shared with Sonic Youth, the joint top spot, but I just haven't made any time for them lately...so I have dedicated this time to them, and it's good old fucking good music. I admit, I prefer the Floyd when David Gilmour joined, the epic guitar work and experimental soundscapes more than Syd Barrett's time with the Floyd. He was a great lyricist, but I like the theatricality of the music with Gilmour. Right, I have to put the washing out and then have some lunch, my 6-9 shift has turned into a 5-10 shift as Caine fucked up the rotas at work with his dictation of his hours, for a newbie he has some fucking nerve. he's a great fun chap, but he needs a kick up the arse. The bat cowl goes well. I went to the art shop and bought some plastercine, modrock and latex. I did ask for modeling clay, but they offered me some really expensive stuff that wasn't what i want, I've always know plastercine as modeling clay. Anyway, yes, ti goes well, the facial features are now coming out, I've built up the cheeks a bit to give it that armor look, but something about it doesn't seem to work, not sure what it is, but I will know soon enough. I'm trying to find good images of the cowl from The Dark Knight, it's bloody hard work. There are allot of Batman Begins ones, but I want the TDK one as it has more defined features. I'm sure I will find something, it's a bit of a hybrid/ custom job, making it more personal and more operatic I feel. Well, I have to go and get ready for work. Later Days |

My bat cowl comes on well, it now has some detailing, but I need to go and purchase some ceramic sculpting tools (their about £4) so I can flatten some bits out and smooth it out a bit. I've decided to go for a "Dark Knight"/ custom look. I know I won't get all the imperfections out as I am not working with oil based clay, so the slight dents and nicks will add to the operatic feel I want. I want the maneuverability that the "Dark Knight" version has, and I have some good reference pictures of the some of the polystone maquettes they released, they different slightly from the final theatrical amour, but that doesn't phase me at all, I was going to simplify it anyway. I don't want to be stitching and gluing hundreds of individual pieces when I can cut the amount down the the essentials. I've looked at motocross armor and bmx armor for the ideas, the same things the suit is based on, that way I know where to focus on.
I bought some craft foam to play with, and experiment with, and I am following a tutorial that was given to me a few years ago about foam LARP armor, plus I have plenty of velcro to aid my cause. It's going to take a while, but when it is finished it will hopefully look cool enough to wear over Halloween, and it will be a vast improvement on my last try, which worked, but this will be cooler. I also need to re-adapt my cape to fit the new armor, so exciting.

I am off to Cardiff tomorrow..YAY!!!! A nice break away from home to relax with Dave and Vicky. I've been trying to pack my bag for hours, I keep on trying to prepare myself for every occasion, so I better put my leather cons in there too, it's going to rain a lot apparently, and I can't wear my straight levis with cons as I'm trying not to fray them, so chunky trainers for them.
I've got two books to read on the way, Watchmen and I'm re-reading Ash Wednesday by Ethan Hawke, I've also packed my ipod with loads of music and films.
I'm looking forward to this, I get to be in a different city, doing different things, I like it, Cardiff is an amazing city.
I watched "I'm not there", the Bob Dylan film, it's really good, a little disorientating at first, but after you get around the different actors, it rocks.
Right, I am going to get my shit wired, I have to go to work for a 5-10 shift...fuck, last night was hell, it was returns after returns after customers and manicness, today will be the same, we have saturdays returns, and saturday was manic...really manic.

Yes, I have spent some cash, my hard earned cash, on this to take to Cardiff and for my masters. Well, thats what I say. I bought a new T-shirt, a burgundy ring necked grandad shirt, a new grey waist coat to work with the Mr Hudson look and a new neck scarf. Plus, a new bag, bigger than my Ramones one and waterproof as my poor Ramones one is no longer. I also bought some new headphones, two t-shirts, a Joker on and a Pink Floyd one, plus The Raconteurs new album. A good day I think. Plus, one final thing, this cool imitation leather hardback notebook, lots of scrawling to do on the way to Cardiff.
I'm taking my camera with me so photos will be taken, going to the Dr Who exhibition in the bay and to the cinema. Exciting days ahead, but the weather looks like it's going to be arse.
Oh well, I will enjoy myself anyways, it'll be exciting, me might go to Dan yr Rogof Caves is the weather is good, but I don't think it will be, oh'well, maybe next year.
Jennie may come around tomorrow for some tea, depends on how much work she gets done, she has lots of painting to do for a client.
